Brandon Pizano Pintor
President
Year: 4th Year
Major: Accounting
KPMG San Diego Summer 2025 Tax Intern
Brandon Pizano Pintor is a 4th year accounting student at San Diego State University, having originally been from Orange County before immigrating to San Diego with a few friends.
​
After a successful semester receiving an internship and making new friends, he hopes to pass on his knowledge and expertise to those looking to further their careers. Being a transfer student he knows how difficult it can be to navigate the recruiting process, and hopes to make it as painless as possible.
In his free time you will see him often at Aztec Lanes playing pool and air hockey.
Jayli Lawlor
Treasurer
Year: 4th Year
Major: Accounting
Jaylin (Jay-lin) prefers to go by Jayli (Jay-lee), but if you say, “Hey you!” loud enough in her direction, she’ll turn around too, so feel free to use whichever name you prefer. She is the treasurer for Beta Alpha Psi. This is her fourth year at San Diego State. She is a BMACC student, meaning she has completed the requirements for her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and is currently working on her Master’s of Science in Accountancy. She plans to work at CohnReznick in the audit and assurance field, with a graduation date set for May 2025. This is her last semester! Please feel free to say hi if you see her! Some of the activities she enjoys include: playing guitar, country western dancing, surfing, hiking, ice skating, skiing, shooting, singing, listening to music, horseback riding, going to church, and spending time with friends and family. She’s excited to see all the new and familiar faces in BAP this semester!!!

Makenna Mahony
VP of Formal Events
Year: 3rd Year
Major: Finance​

Makenna Mahony grew up in Orange County and joined BAP last semester. Her goal for this semester is to be a helpful and friendly resource to members of the BAP community and encourage others to do their best. She enjoys running, snowboarding, good food, and meeting new people. She loves traveling and has been to countries including Japan, Italy, France, Switzerland, Turkey, and Norway. In her free time, she enjoys running, climbing, and snowboarding. She’s excited to be hosting the End of Semester Event!
Graham Zagrodzky
VP of Social Events
Year: Graduate Student
Major: BMACC for Financial Reporting
Graham is a fifth year student in the BMACC program for financial reporting. He is originally from Houston and has been a San Diego resident since 2014. During his time at SDSU, he has served as Treasurer, President, and VP of Socials for Beta Alpha Psi as well as serving as a teaching assistant for ACCTG 331 and ACCTG 201. After graduation, he will be starting as an auditor at Baker Tilly in the fall. In his spare time he enjoys biking, collecting coins, bowling, playing video games, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
Toshiki Aniban
VP of Reporting
Year: 4th Year
Major: Accounting

Toshiki Aniban is a senior accounting major at San Diego State University. He was born in San Diego and has always enjoyed the weather here, which is why he was glad he could continue his studies in California. He is currently in the BMACC master's program as well and serves as the VP of Reporting for Beta Alpha Psi.

A few of his hobbies include playing video games, swimming, tennis, and occasionally playing the piano.
Harven Gorges
VP of Internal Audit

Harven Gorges is an international student from Norway, currently pursuing his CPA certification. He loves to watch and play soccer. Although he doesn’t have many hobbies, he enjoys hiking, podcasting, hanging out with friends, and playing poker. He has lived in four different countries and speaks four languages. Additionally, he runs a club at SDSU called EsEC, which focuses on teaching students SAP.
Grace Chen
VP of Firm Relations
Year: 3rd Year
Major: Accounting

Grace Chen is a 3nd year accounting undergraduate student at San Diego State University. She moved to San Diego when she was 3 and has lived in the Carmel Valley/Del Mar area ever since.
After getting to know a few former board members, she decided to join BAP’s e-board in hopes of providing the same support system and community that she had the honor of being a part of.
In her free time, Grace likes playing video games like Valorant, Apex Legends, Phasmophobia, Minecraft, Starfield, etc.. She also enjoys playing tennis, badminton, and volleyball (don’t expect much). She is very fond of animals, especially cats :3
Thi Nguyen
VP of Communication
Year: 2nd Year
Major: Accounting

Thi Nguyen is a second-year Accounting major at San Diego State University. She enjoys connecting with new people and making new friends. In her free time, Thi loves drawing, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. If you're unsure how to pronounce her name, it sounds just like the letter 'T' or 'tea.'
Luke Phillips
VP of Career Readiness
Year: 4th Year
Major: Accounting
​Luke Phillips is originally from San Jose, CA, and transferred to San Diego State in Fall 2023, where he found BAP. BAP helped him gain the professionalism needed to secure an internship at Grant Thornton in Tax and a full-time job offer with EY as a Tax Staff I. He enjoys hiking, running, going out with friends, chilling with his cat, and staying busy. He hopes to be a useful resource for everyone recruiting this semester and a valuable connection in the future.

Sarah Bonello

Sarah Bonello is a second-year accounting student at San Diego State. She is also involved in Sirens of State and Alpha Gamma Delta on campus. She is excited to contribute to the Beta Alpha Psi community by organizing the volunteer events this semester!
